The British Butler Academy offers professional Housekeeper Training designed for private households, hotels and high-end residential environments.

New for 2026: Online Housekeeper Training

For those unable to attend in-person training in London or wishing to study at their own pace, the British Butler Academy now offers the Foundation Housekeeper Certification Course online.

This structured programme introduces the professional systems, standards and working methods used in private households. Through guided modules and practical demonstrations, students build a clear understanding of professional housekeeping techniques and routines.

The course is delivered through our online learning platform and can be completed flexibly alongside work or family commitments.

Students completing the course receive a Foundation Certificate issued by The British Butler Academy.

All participants completing Housekeeper Training with the British Butler Academy receive an attendance certificate.

Our Housekeeper Training certificates are recognised internationally. In addition, references may be provided for students who demonstrate a high standard of performance.

For hotels and organisations, a branded certificate can also be issued for display at the premises.

We recruit housekeepers and senior household staff for UHNW clients in London and internationally.

Many of our Housekeeper Training participants are introduced to private employers through Bespoke Bureau.

Some participants also choose to further develop their skills through formal service training, supporting progression into senior private household roles.

The cost of Housekeeper Training depends on the training format, group size and delivery location.

Pricing for individual training starts from £500 per day plus VAT, with group training starting from £1,050 per day plus VAT. All programmes are tailored to specific requirements.
